MS-RT Pairs with local charity Dreams & Wishes

Dreams and Wishes is an award-winning Charity that supports seriously ill children and their families, by granting their dreams and wishes and building memories that last a lifetime. 

The Charity is run by a dedicated and experienced team of volunteers and all of the funds raised goes directly to seriously ill children (from birth – 21 years) without any deductions. Dreams & Wishes are not a one wish charity and support children throughout their illnesses, working closely with the hospitals, medical specialists, nurses and the families.   

Dreams and Wishes, was founded by Mr Tony Curtis MBE in 2011, to support children and their families who find themselves in heart-breaking circumstances. Whatever a child’s dream or wish is, the charity is determined to make it happen because experiencing a serious illness is devastating at any age for both the person and the family, but for a child it is unimaginable. 

The Charity are always happy to arrange wishes at a moment’s notice for a child receiving end of life care.  

The Charity are proud to support children who develop cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The suffering continues, and if anything with many hospital procedures cancelled or postponed the misery for these young people has been exacerbated. What the charity now seeks to do is to increase its efforts and work harder to support those who are going through very difficult times.  

Dreams and Wishes do not receive government support, but rely upon sheer determination and the generosity of the general public and businesses to support our important work. The charity is grateful for the fact that it does not have to fund premises, nor to cover the salaries or expenses of any staff. Having come through such a difficult phase Dreams and Wishes finds that there is still so much more to be done and every second counts for a child facing a life-threatening illness. MS-RT pledge to help and contribute to this charity in many ways varying from Easter egg collection and sponsored runs.
